I'm new to PC building and need some guidance. I recently bought a CoolerMaster 850W MWE PSU, but it only includes 2 pigtailed PCIe cables. My Asus Radeon 9070XT requires 3x 8-pin connectors. While I can technically make it work with both connectors from one pigtail, I'm not confident about doing that due to mixed advice I've seen online, and I couldn't find any guidance from CoolerMaster on compatible cables. Therefore, I'm planning to return the PSU and am searching for an 850W power supply that comes with 3 separate, non-pigtail PCIe cables. Any recommendations? My setup includes a 9070XT, R7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5, B850e Wifi, and a 2TB 990 EVO M.2 NVME.

I recommend the MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 850W. It's reliable and should fit your needs perfectly!
The Corsair RM850x 2024 is a solid choice. It comes with 3 separate 8-pin PCIe cables and 2 CPU cables, so you can power your 9070XT without any pig-tailing, which is much safer. Definitely a high-quality PSU!
Corsair RM850x is priced a bit higher but well worth it for reliability. I've been using it with my own setup, and it works great. My previous Hellhound PSU only had two connectors, and it's been running without issues, but getting something with more connectors is definitely the way to go.
Using at least 2 separate cables for your GPU should generally be fine, but it really depends on the power requirements and the specific PSU. Just be cautious if you're going to pig-tail; it could lead to overheating issues if the PSU isn't rated for it.
