Hey everyone! I'm just a few hours away from Micro Center and want to double-check my custom PC build before I hit the road. This setup is aimed at 1440p gaming, programming, and doing some light AI work. I've budgeted around $3000 before tax and am looking for something that will be fairly future-proof. Here are my main concerns:
- Do I have enough cooling for the Intel i9-14900K?
- Is the case I've chosen good for airflow?
- Are there any components you would suggest swapping out?
I've got the full build details ready, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked out Micro Center's PowerSpec G913? It might be a more budget-friendly option with decent specs, depending on what you're looking for.
I have to say, spending over $3000 for a build centered around a 14900K seems a bit much! You might want to reconsider if that's really the best choice. Just keep in mind that over $800 of your budget is going into RAM, which is quite hefty.
True, but a lot of users prefer Intel for specific workloads and gaming performance.
Consider grabbing one of the Ultra bundles instead of the 14th gen bundle you picked. It could save you some cash and give you great performance too!

Yeah, I'm honestly puzzled seeing so many people stick with Intel when AMD has some solid options. Just something to think about!
