I just finished assembling my first PC, and I'm using an Asus TUF Gaming B850M-E motherboard with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RTX 5070 graphics card. Due to the high prices of RAM right now, I settled on 2x16GB Viper Elite 5 DDR5 RAM sticks. Additionally, I received a free gift of 2x8GB Tforce Delta DDR5 sticks. When I power it on, the RGB lights and fans work, but there's no boot or BIOS screen. The motherboard lights flash, my monitor turns on but says no signal, or it shows the boot light. I've already tried various combinations with the RAM sticks, checked all the power plugs, and reinstalled the GPU, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone offer some advice?

Do you hear any beep codes when you try to boot? A lot of motherboards have status LEDs that might indicate where the problem lies if they're lit up in specific colors.
Actually, I think the issue might be with the RAM. When I got into the BIOS, I had to take out the 2x8GB sticks. Once I did, the system booted just fine. You might want to test just using the Viper Elite RAM sticks for now and see if that gets you into the BIOS.
I had the same issue! The 2x8GB Tforce sticks just wouldn't let me boot. I need to figure out how to make 48GB work now, though.
It sounds like you might need to reset the CMOS battery. Try removing it for a few minutes and then putting it back. This could help clear any potential BIOS issues. Also, while the battery is out, turn off the power supply and press the power button for about 10 seconds to drain any residual power.
Yeah, resetting the BIOS can sometimes solve boot issues. Just make sure to leave the battery out long enough, and then reinstall it.
Mixing RAM sticks can be tricky. Even if they're both DDR5, they may not work well together if their specifications differ too much. You'll probably get better stability if you stick to just one type—maybe the Patriot Viper Elite—you'll likely want to run them in the recommended slots too.

Absolutely! Also, have you installed a beep code speaker on the motherboard? That could provide helpful diagnostics.
