Hey everyone! I'm completely new to building PCs and I could really use some guidance. I've compiled a list of parts for my first build ([check it out here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/g6vp74)), but I'm not super confident about my choices. I'm trying to keep the total around $2500. The main use will be gaming and occasionally running applications like Blender, plus I'll often have multiple apps open, like Discord, Opera, and YouTube alongside my games. If possible, I also need HDMI support for a second monitor. Any suggestions for better parts or tweaks would be greatly appreciated!

Before you commit, you should clarify what games you'll be playing since that can change the hardware recommendations. You mentioned older games like Quake and Halo, but also newer titles like GTA 5 and R6. The configuration you go for might differ depending on the graphics intensity of those games. Just make sure the parts match what you need them for!
It’s great that you’re taking the plunge into building your own PC! Since your main focus is gaming, I think you should consider upgrading the GPU you’ve chosen, as it might not meet your gaming needs effectively. For about the same budget, check out this build I recommend:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (around $460)
- **GPU**: PNY OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (approx. $750)
This setup should give you much better performance, especially in games. Make sure to grab a good cooler and plenty of RAM—like 32 GB of DDR5—to keep everything running smoothly when you have multiple applications open. The total would be just over your limit kinda ($2538), but it'll be worth it for performance!
Good catch! Definitely get a solid GPU if you're gaming. The RTX 5070 Ti is a solid choice that'll handle most games beautifully at good settings.

Yeah, for sure! I want to play a mix of those games and keep everything smooth while multitasking.
