I'm a complete newbie to Linux and currently using Fedora 42 with KDE Plasma as my desktop environment. I've been trying to install GNOME but have hit a wall. I've followed a few tutorials but just can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

What steps have you already tried? Are you seeing any specific error messages? It's helpful to know what exactly isn't working as that could lead us to a solution.

I attempted to install it using the commands: `sudo dnf install gnome-desktop` and `sudo dnf swap @kde-desktop-environment @gnome-desktop`. I also looked up the available group list with `dnf environment list --available`, but I can't find GNOME listed anywhere.

Check out some installation tips we have in our wiki! It can be a bit daunting, but making sure you’re connected to an ethernet cable might help. Also, remember to remove any boot media after the installation is complete!
