Need Help Troubleshooting My New Gigabyte Aorus Master 5090 GPU

I just got my hands on a Gigabyte Aorus Master 5090 GPU, and I'm having trouble getting it to display anything. It arrived today (5/17/25) and is installed in my Hyte Y70 Touch case. I can't figure out if it's defective or if I've just messed up the installation somehow. The GPU is mounted vertically, which lets me see the PCIe pins, and I'm wondering if it's seated correctly. When I install the GPU, the right side clicks into place, but the left side doesn't feel like it's fully in. I noticed some clearance issues with the GPU's IO shield too, which makes me wonder if that's part of the problem. I've included a link to a picture for reference: https://imgur.com/a/vFLKcfa. Sorry if the link violates any rules. I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 9800x3D CPU, so I can get to my desktop by plugging the HDMI into the motherboard. I've checked the device manager, but I don't see the GPU listed there. I've also tried both DisplayPort and HDMI cables, but no luck. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the GPU might not be seated properly. From your description, it seems like the left side isn't clicking in fully. You should double-check if the GPU connectors need to slide in more towards the back of the case. Sometimes the case itself can get in the way when installing GPUs, especially with those slots for the display ports and HDMI connectors. Make sure everything is aligned correctly and try pushing down gently on the left side to see if you can get it to latch in.

Yeah, I've had a similar issue with my setup before! I had to adjust a GPU a bit more than I expected because the case cutouts were slightly misaligned. Keep an eye on how the IO shield fits; if it’s touching anything, that could definitely be causing the problem.
