Need Help Upgrading My Dad’s PC for Indiana Jones

I just bought the latest Indiana Jones game for my dad, but unfortunately, his PC can't handle it, so I think it's time for an upgrade. The game requires at least 60FPS in Full HD on high settings, which I don't think his current setup can manage. His specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti GPU, 16GB of RAM, ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard, a 256GB NVMe SSD, and a 2TB WD Black hard drive.

To keep costs down, I'm planning to reuse the motherboard and the drives. Here's what I'm looking to add:
- A new CPU + cooler (if needed)
- A new GPU
- A 1TB SSD (the current one is too small for the new game)
- 32GB RAM
- A new PSU

I'm not sure what case he has, but I'll figure that out later. Do you guys think this configuration looks good?

Are you looking to do a complete rebuild, or just upgrading? If you’re keeping the old motherboard and parts, you might want to consider moving to AM5 for better performance in the long run.

I want to save money by using the old motherboard since it supports AM4. I’ll check if that’s enough!

Indiana Jones needs a GPU that supports ray tracing to run properly, which might be why it wouldn’t start on your dad’s current setup. Are you thinking about grabbing that RTX 4070 Super new? I heard it’s being replaced by the 5070, which could save you some cash!

I initially planned to buy new, but now I’ll look into the 5070 too. Thanks for the tip!
