Need Help with Asus TUF Gaming B650 Plus Boot Issues

I'm experiencing a weird problem with my Asus TUF Gaming B650 Plus motherboard. My PC won't boot properly, and I get an orange DRAM light. The only way to get it to start is by resetting the CMOS and removing the RAM stick in slot A2, leaving only one stick in slot B2. I turn it on, then turn it off, put the second stick back in A2, and it works. This feels like a temporary fix, and I'm hoping someone here has a better, permanent solution.

Just so you know, the Ryzen 5 7600 is rated for DDR5-5200 RAM max. DDR5-6000 is technically an overclock, so just sleeping on that. It’s often confusing because of the MT/s and MHz difference, but often RAM will default to a lower speed to sync properly with your CPU. If your RAM is set to run at 6000 MT/s, that could actually be causing your issue since overclocking features like EXPO aren’t guaranteed to work as intended.

So, if I disable EXPO, would that help?

Are you sure this isn’t just RAM training? Sometimes it can take several minutes for RAM to calibrate itself. Just a thought!

I’m fairly certain it’s not training. I left it running for a while, and it didn’t change anything.

Have you checked for the latest BIOS updates? The RAM controller's integrated into the CPU, and your motherboard just connects them. You're using a Ryzen 5 7600 and you need to be careful with RAM configurations, especially with AM5 motherboards. If you’ve got all 4 sticks installed right away, it might struggle to POST. It usually helps to start with 1-2 sticks, set your speeds and timings, and then add the rest. Also, occasionally hardware can be faulty if you have a bent pin on the CPU or a bad RAM stick.

I did try updating the BIOS. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 7600 and 32GB (2 x 16) Corsair Vengeance RAM at 6000 MHz.
