Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of trouble with the f_panel cable on my Phanteks G370A case. I thought I had it figured out since it has a marked dot to help guide its placement into my Gigabyte B650M Gaming WiFi motherboard. It seems pretty straightforward, right? But I'm not so sure anymore. Could anyone help me out and clarify the correct way to connect it without risking damage?

Initially, I thought the cable in question was for front panel USB, but it looks like Phanteks has made a single connector solution. Check out this pin-out I found—it might clarify things for you. It’s a bit hard to follow in the manual, though.
You’ll want to connect the f_panel cable by using the leftmost side of it. Just make sure to turn the connector upwards, away from you, by 180 degrees. That should do the trick!
Thanks for the tip! I just checked my manual and if I do that, it seems like I'm only connecting half of the Chassis Intrusion Header. Is that going to be an issue? Also, I don’t have anything plugged into the SPEAK header for error sounds—does that matter?
After looking at the pinout, I'd say that connector should work with your motherboard. Just make sure to install it as far to the left as possible!
