I recently upgraded to a new monitor and I'm planning to upgrade my GPU soon, currently using a 4060. Since this card doesn't perform well at 4K, I've heard that enabling integer scaling can help improve how 1080p content looks on my 4K display. However, I can't seem to find the integer scaling option anywhere in the settings. Oddly, my old Dell 1080p monitor has this feature, but when I select the new monitor in the Nvidia app, the integer scaling option disappears. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It seems like integer scaling might not show up if you have Display Screen Compression (DSC) or Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) enabled. You should check your settings to see if these are turned on.
If your monitor doesn’t let you disable DSC, you could either switch to a different GPU, perhaps one from AMD, or consider using scaling software like IntegerScaler or Magpie for a solution. Another option is to reduce your refresh rate to 120Hz or lower, as that might effectively disable DSC compression by providing enough bandwidth for an uncompressed signal.
I’ve heard that too, but I'm not sure where to find those settings. Do you know how I can disable DSC?
