Hey everyone, I'm reaching out because I'm really confused about a couple of things regarding updates on my Dell computer. I previously made a post about the Intel Extension, but unfortunately, it didn't get any responses. I could really use some help here!
So first off, I went through my SupportAssist, and it mentioned an Intel update, specifically 'Intel Corporation - System - 64.22000.14680.2'. While it was downloading and installing, my computer crashed, and now I'm not sure if the update actually installed correctly. When I check the Driver Updates section, I still see this same installation listed, which has me puzzled.
The second issue I'm having relates to Microsoft Defender. I installed a Security Intelligence Update, which is listed as 'Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602', but when I click on it, it shows identical IDs with different version numbers in the Definition updates tab. Is this something that happens often?

Yes, it’s not unusual to see multiple version numbers for Security Intelligence updates. These updates can roll out several times a day to keep the antivirus definitions current. So, seeing the same ID with different versions is pretty common!
As for the Intel update, it sounds like you might be experiencing a glitch. If it still shows as available, that often means the installation didn’t fully go through. You might want to try reinstalling that specific update to see if it works this time around.
Yeah, it shows that it's installed, which is weird. I checked for updates, and everything says I'm up to date, but it's still there on the list.
