I've been having issues with my wireless keyboards lately, and I'm starting to think the problem lies with my system rather than the keyboards themselves. I got a Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini about a year and a half ago, which worked great until it started missing keystrokes while used wirelessly. Switching to a wired connection fixed the issue. I then tried the Logitech MX Keys S for its quieter keys, but it had the same problem, only worse, so I returned it. My latest keyboard is the Keychron B1 Pro (1000Hz), and while it's better than the Logitech, it still drops keystrokes wirelessly.
It's worth noting that this happens on both Windows 11 and Linux. I'm using the wireless dongles that came with the keyboards and have tried different USB ports. All keyboards work fine when wired. My system specs are:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
- CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 AF
- GPU: RX 580
- RAM: 16GB Corsair 3000MHz
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro (boot), Kingston A400 (unused)
- PSU: InterTech Energon 650W
I've updated the BIOS and all drivers.
I also experience a separate issue on Windows 11 where my PC randomly slows down every few days, even though Task Manager shows low resource usage. This doesn't happen on Linux.
I'm planning on upgrading components soon (CPU, GPU, PSU, motherboard, cooler, RAM), but I want to figure out what might be causing these issues to avoid bringing them into the new build. Any ideas?

Have you checked the battery levels? Sometimes it can be as simple as a low battery causing missed keystrokes. Just a thought!
You should definitely try switching USB ports. If you're on a USB 2.0 port, switch to a USB 3.0. Also, consider your motherboard's USB chipset. Some motherboards use different chipsets for USB speeds which could cause issues. Lastly, check for any interference from other USB devices or nearby wireless signals. It could also be a PSU issue affecting device performance.
If you're experiencing both keyboard lag and random slowdowns on Windows, it might be a PSU problem. Weird issues like these often relate to power instability. Also, consider whether you have too many USB devices connected, as that might be stressing the ports. Power cables behind the TV or significant wireless interference could be culprits too.

That's a good point! But I've tried three different keyboards, so I'm not sure it's the batteries.
