Need Help with My First Custom Gaming and Everyday PC Build

I'm embarking on my first custom PC build and could really use some guidance! I'm aiming for a budget between $1000 and $1200 for a gaming and everyday use setup, but I want to save money wherever possible. Here's what I'm considering for my build:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 3.4 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE WHITE ARGB 66.17 CFM
- **Motherboard**: Asus PRIME B550M-A WIFI II Micro ATX AM4
- **Memory (RAM)**: Crucial Ballistix 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
- **Storage**: Klevv CRAS C910 1 TB M.2 NVME SSD
- **GPU**: MSI VENTUS 2X BLACK OC GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB
- **Case**: Montech AIR 100 ARGB MicroATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply**: Corsair CX (2023) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX

Total cost: $1100.

I have a few specific questions: Should I buy a Windows 11 OS as part of the setup? Would a Zalman P10 NAMU White Micro-ATX Mini Tower case be a better option in terms of airflow and compatibility? Is this custom build worth it compared to some pre-built options I found? Also, do you have any tips for saving money while maximizing performance? I really appreciate any help you can offer!

You can definitely choose to buy a Windows license, but if you have an USB drive, you can create a bootable installer for Windows 11 and install it for free. Just something to consider if you want to save some cash. Also, the Ryzen 7 5700X is a solid pick! Just a heads up, if you're looking to play more demanding games at 1440p, 8GB of VRAM may feel limited, but for 1080p it's usually fine.

Thanks for the OS tip! I’ll look into creating an installer. Appreciate your feedback on the VRAM too!
