Hey everyone! I've been diving into PC building for the past month, and I've finally organized a build on PCPartPicker that I'm looking to order soon. However, I want to make sure I'm making smart choices before I hit that order button. I'm aiming for a solid performance for at least five years without overspending on unnecessary upgrades, especially since some of the latest CPUs and GPUs only offer marginal improvements at a steep price. I want to be able to play modern games smoothly at high settings. Currently, I have a 144Hz ASUS vg248qe monitor but I'm considering something more powerful, possibly 240Hz. I'm open to any suggestions on parts, monitors, tools I'll need, and any essential tips for building my PC. Thanks for your help!

Sounds like you’re aiming for a sleek black and white build! I noticed you didn’t specify colors yet. You can get parts from various places, but Amazon is usually reliable. Just make sure to check reviews! I'm excited to see how it turns out!
Hey, do you have a DVD player? You might want to get a digital Windows 11 activation code since they're pretty cheap – around 10 to 20 euros where I live. Your setup looks solid already, it's like a top-tier Ryzen/AMD system! What more do you need advice on exactly?
I'm still figuring out how Windows works for installation and would love suggestions on good monitors for this build. Also, any general PC building tips would be great since I want to make sure I don't mess anything up.
You might want to check out cheaper motherboard and cooler options; this could free up some cash for a better GPU like the 9800X3D. Also, don't go for the 7900 XTX as it’s last-gen and over-priced – look for something like the 5080 that offers better value for just a bit more.
Thanks for the tip! Do you have any specific motherboard and cooler recommendations?
Yeah, I wasn't too focused on colors yet, just picked parts I liked. I’ll probably go for black or white based on what's available.
