I'm experiencing some serious overheating problems with my PC. My CPU is running at a clock speed of 5500 MHz, and it's causing the temperatures to skyrocket. Can anyone provide insights or tips to manage this better?

Are you really reaching those scary temperatures? Like, are you hitting 95-100°C? That would definitely be alarming and could lead to thermal throttling or damage if not fixed quickly!

Yes, unfortunately, I am hitting those temps!

What’s the specific CPU you’re using? I’d recommend checking your cooling setup as well. Are you using a liquid cooler or air cooler? A temperature at idle around 60°C is a bit high; when gaming, hitting over 90°C is definitely concerning. You might want to look at your thermal paste application or even the case airflow.

I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X with a CORSAIR iCUE H60X liquid cooler. It gets over 90°C when I play Call of Duty.

First off, what's your CPU model and the temps you're seeing? If you’re hitting around 95-100°C, that’s quite high! It’s essential to know what cooling solution you have as well, whether it’s an air cooler or liquid cooler. Are you running heavy applications when this happens?
