I just picked up the Cooler Master MWE 750 Gold V2 Fully Modular PSU and ran into a bit of a snag with the PCIe power cables. The PSU only came with daisy-chained PCIe cables that each have 2x 6+2 connectors, but I need two separate cables for my RX 6800 XT graphics card. I'm worried that running both connectors from a single daisy-chained cable could lead to instability, especially since my PC shut down when I played No Man's Sky VR. I want to ensure my setup is as safe as possible. Does Cooler Master offer individual PCIe 6+2-pin cables that would be compatible with my PSU? Is there a recommended solution for this? Thanks so much for any help!

From what I know, it's usually okay to power multiple connectors from two cables. With your setup, if your GPU only has two PCIe connectors, you could use both cables while leaving the daisy-chained one just hanging. But just to be safe, if the GPU pulls over 300W, you might want to look into a proper single PCIe cable setup. Maybe check if Cooler Master sells those separately for your model.
That PSU should definitely have come with two separate PCIe cables. You might want to just use one connector on each cable. If you're worried about the daisy-chain setup, it's a good idea to confirm you have the right cables for best performance.
Yeah, I get that. The issue is, he mentioned that each of his cables is actually daisy-chained. He’s concerned about doubling up power from one rail, which is valid, especially if his GPU is pulling a lot of power during intense gaming.
Thanks for the advice! I'll reach out to Cooler Master to see if they have single cables that would work with my PSU. I really want to ensure I’m powering my GPU safely!
