Need Tips for My First PC Build – Will This Setup Handle 1440p Gaming?

I'm excited to build my first PC! In the past, a friend helped me choose the parts for my initial setup, so I'm still navigating things. I've done my homework and I'm curious if the components I've selected will perform well for 1440p gaming or if there are any changes I should consider. Here's my part list: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yhjzzP](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yhjzzP).

Nice build! Just a heads up, that cooler is quite large, so definitely check for clearance. Also, keep an eye out for used RAM; you might snag a good deal since prices have been a bit all over the place lately.

Totally! That's something I'm worried about. I was thinking of going with an AIO cooler from a Newegg bundle I got with the RAM. If the big cooler doesn’t fit, I’ll just use that AIO.

I'd recommend considering an EVGA or Corsair power supply. They're known for quality and reliability, especially for gaming builds.

Is the Montech one I'm looking at not a good option? I thought it was affordable, but I'm realizing maybe I shouldn't try to save money on the PSU.

Your build looks solid overall! Just remember to check the mechanical clearances for both the GPU and cooler with your case. It's super important to avoid any issues once you start assembling everything.

I did check out some videos with the same case and GPU combination, and it seems like it should fit just fine. Just hoping I don’t make too many mistakes when building it, haha!

Just make sure the power supply fits inside your case; some of them can be pretty cramped. It's worth double-checking that before you order everything.
