I just finished building my first PC (though I've put together others before) and I'm experiencing major issues. After installing my usual software and a game, I tried playing Frag Punk, but I got an unbelievably low framerate of just 3-5 FPS! The fans are also going wild. This is all happening in the game's intro, so I can't even adjust settings. I have a Ryzen 5 7600x in my build, which you can check out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6FjJDj. I don't think my internet speed (20 Mbps) is the problem because my computer runs other tasks smoothly. Is there something I might have overlooked while building or in BIOS?

First off, double-check if you took off the plastic cover from the heatsink and applied thermal paste. That can really affect performance if you missed that step!
That’s right, even with not enough thermal paste, it shouldn’t drop performance like this right away.
Also, make sure your display is connected to your graphics card, not the motherboard. If it's plugged into the mobo, it can cause big issues. It sounds like connecting it to the mobo is making it worse for you, so definitely check that!
Yes, it's connected to the GPU, but when I switched it to the mobo, it got even worse.
Yeah, I made sure to use thermal paste and removed the plastic cover. I did a pea-sized amount and spread it a little. Should be enough, right?
