I recently installed the latest NVIDIA driver from July 1, 2025, and ever since, my PC crashes to a black screen and completely reboots whenever I try to play a game. The crash log from Windows indicates that the NVIDIA Display Container LS service terminated unexpectedly, but this only happened once. I've been using my RTX 3070 for years without any issues. I tried rolling back to the driver from March 2025, but I'm hoping to find a solution that allows me to update without the crashes. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

You might want to try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove your current drivers before reinstalling the latest ones. It helps ensure that no remnants of previous installations are causing conflicts.
But how do I keep my old driver from March safe? I don’t have it in installer format; I got it through the NVIDIA app.
