I've been having a frustrating issue with my laptop regarding Nvidia drivers. I got this laptop from a friend, and although it seems to function well, I'm getting conflicting messages about the drivers. Whenever I try to update the Nvidia drivers, it claims the installation was successful, but the Nvidia application still tells me that the drivers aren't installed. Additionally, when I run Windows diagnostics, I get Error 43 for my primary driver, which I've heard usually indicates it might be dead. Despite this, I can run half of my games just fine, while the other half are nearly unplayable. Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed with this issue, or should I just take it to a repair shop?

Check how many display adapters are showing up in your Device Manager. Sometimes laptops have both integrated graphics and a dedicated GPU. I had a similar setup and one would cause issues while the other worked fine.
If your laptop is running fine otherwise, I’d say you can ignore the error for now. It's not super uncommon to see that kind of error even if everything else seems to be okay. However, if you're experiencing major issues with certain games, consider checking your settings or the Nvidia update service instead of just relying on Windows.
It sounds like your drivers might be corrupted. I suggest you use a tool called DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely wipe out the existing drivers, then grab the latest driver directly from Nvidia's website and install that one.

I have two as well: an AMD Radeon and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti. The GTX is showing the error code while the Radeon is fine.
