Random Black Screen Issue on My PC – Help Needed!

I've been dealing with these annoying random black screens on my PC for the last month, and I'm really hoping someone here can help me figure it out. Here's what's going on: during usage, my monitor randomly goes black for a second or two and then comes back, but everything else on my PC keeps running smoothly—no crashes or lag. I can still hear whatever audio is playing in the background, like from games or music. I checked the Event Viewer, but there aren't any errors that stick out to me. I also noticed a brief distortion sound from the speakers when the screen goes black, and I'm not sure if that's important. I've already reseated my components and bought a dedicated AVR for my monitor due to unstable power in my area, but that hasn't resolved the issue. I'm really at my wits' end and not sure what else to try. Oh, and I've changed the cable too!

Are you running any remote access software in the background? Sometimes that can interfere with the display.

Nope, I don't have any remote access software running.

It sounds like your monitor might be the culprit. Have you checked the cable for any damage? It might also help to test it with a different machine to see if the same problem occurs. If you can't test it with another PC, you could try livestreaming your screen and using your phone to see if the black screen happens there too. Good luck!

I actually updated my post to mention that I've changed the cables already. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
