I'm experiencing frustrating random freezes on my Windows 11 setup. Here are my system specs: I'm running Windows 11 Home version 10.0.26100 on a Ryzen 5800x3d with stable undervolting via PBO2. My temps are good, maxing out at 70°C even under heavy load. I have an AMD 9070 XT Red Devil GPU that's been performing well, with the latest driver (25.8.1) freshly installed after a clean-up. The RAM is 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz, and I've been using the XMP profile without issues. The BIOS on my Asrock X470 Master SLI is fairly up to date.
The issue is that my system freezes completely, with no mouse movement and no error messages. It happens suddenly and seems to occur during idle periods or light browsing. The audio also gets stuck in a buzzing sound. At times, there are long intervals without freezes, making it hard to pinpoint the cause. I've already uninstalled a remote software and rolled back some settings, but the problem persists. I've also tried checking the event logs, but nothing notable stands out.
I'm hoping someone can give me advice on further troubleshooting steps. I'd prefer to avoid a complete reinstall until my thesis is done, but I may have to consider it if this keeps up. Any tips on what else to check would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like a RAM issue could be a factor. Have you tried running Memtest86? Set it to run overnight to really test your memory. Random freezes can often be linked to faulty RAM.
Hey! Sorry to hear you're going through this. I had a similar freeze issue, and it turned out to be my M.2 NVME drive needed reseating. Dust or poor contacts can cause crashes. Also, consider turning off fast startup and hibernation in your settings. If you've been using the latest BIOS version, sometimes rolling back to a previous stable one can help too. Definitely check your disk with chkdsk /r and try reseating your RAM and GPU as well. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestions! I’m checking the disk for issues now. I’ll make sure to reseat the RAM tomorrow, just to be cautious. It’s strange having those long gaps between freezes, though.

I did run Memtest a few days ago, but it didn’t run for very long. I’ll try to leave it running overnight tonight.
