Recommendations for a Budget-Friendly PSU for My First PC Build

I'm building my first PC and I'm looking for some advice on budget-friendly power supply units (PSUs). My setup includes an RTX 3050 6GB and an Intel I5-12400F processor, as well as a Crucial P3 PLUS 500GB NVME SSD and a 500GB 7200 RPM HDD, all on an MSI PRO B660M-P motherboard. I used a PSU calculator and it recommended 500 watts, but I'm planning to get a 550W PSU to be safe and future-proof my build. I'm looking for reputable brands like Corsair or Coolermaster with good performance and longevity. Ideally, I want a Gold efficiency rating, but a Silver one will work too. Just need something reliable to power my rig!

Have you considered the RX 6600? It's usually priced similarly to the 3050 but offers better performance. Just a thought!

I wish! In my country, the 6600 is way more expensive. The 3050 is 680 dirhams, while the 6600 is over 900. Any chance you can share some examples where their prices are similar?

Check out the Be Quiet! Pure Power 12M. If you want more options, there's an awesome spreadsheet with a ton of recommendations that might help you find the right one.

You can go for the Corsair RM850e or something similar; they usually fit within your budget and offer great performance for upgrades later on.

I just bought a First Player Steampunk 750W for around $85. It works well for my setup. Might be worth checking out!

Could you share the model or brand details? Thanks!
