Recommendations for a Linux Distro for Both Content Creation and Parents

I'm looking for some advice on the best Linux distributions for two different cases. First off, I need a distro for myself since I've been holding off on switching to Linux mainly because I rely on the Adobe suite for professional work, especially in Premiere and Illustrator. Dual booting sounds like a hassle, but I've heard some recent discussions about Adobe products potentially running on Linux. Considering I also game on Steam, which distro would you suggest for my situation?

Secondly, I need a recommendation for my parents. They're used to Windows but not very tech-savvy. They mainly do web browsing, online bill payment, basic text editing, and storing files on their hard drive. I'm thinking something hassle-free and similar to Windows—maybe Linux Mint? What do you think? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

For your parents, I recommend looking into Zorin OS, Kubuntu LTS, or sticking with Linux Mint Cinnamon. They’re user-friendly and pretty reliable. As for you, Tuxedo OS or Kubuntu would work well, especially since they have strong Ubuntu bases. They’re well-documented, making it easier for getting started, plus the KDE desktop environment is top-notch for usability.
