Recommendations for a Low Input Lag TV for PC Gaming

I've been trying to play PC games on my TV, but the input lag is really making it a struggle. I'm looking to buy a new TV that can handle 1080p at 60Hz, is a decent size, and minimizes latency—ideally, something comparable to a monitor. I'm aware of the issues with motion smoothing and similar features that are great for watching but not so much for gaming. Are there any TVs available on Amazon that would meet my needs? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It's tough to find a TV that offers zero input lag. If you're mostly playing slower-paced games, like RPGs, you might not notice the lag as much. For fast-paced games, though, it can definitely make a difference. Just wanted to point out that the type of games you're playing can affect how annoying input lag feels.

I mainly play games like Monster Hunter World and similar titles. I get what you're saying about more relaxed games, but I definitely want to keep lag to a minimum for a better overall experience.

Honestly, if you're serious about minimizing lag, a monitor is the better choice over a TV. However, if you want the TV experience, try looking for a high-end model. Brands like LG offer awesome OLED TVs, which are great for gaming. Just keep an eye on the specs regarding input lag.

I do have a 1440p 144Hz monitor, and it's fantastic! But I miss playing games comfortably with a controller on the couch, hence my search for a TV.

Most 1080p TVs at 60Hz tend to have pretty poor input lag. If you're on a budget, I have a TCL 4K TV at 144Hz, and while I can tell it's not quite as good as my OLED monitor, it performs decently for gaming. Ultimately, your budget will play a huge role in what you can get.
