I'm looking for a user-friendly RDP client for Android devices that can be remotely managed through an MDM solution. We use Zebra scanners running Android, specifically the MC33 and MC33X series, but we've been stuck with outdated versions of the Microsoft RDP client. Unfortunately, that client can't be remotely managed with our current setup using SureMDM. I'm seeking an RDP client that meets three crucial criteria: it must allow RDP connections, enable remote settings management via an MDM, and support touchscreen interactions directly (not simulating mouse movements). I've tried exploring alternatives, including Parallels and attempting to create our own app with freeRDP, but I've hit too many errors during the app build process. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Have you considered using TeamViewer? It can be managed via Intune, which might work for your needs. Just keep in mind that you'll likely need to install TeamViewer on all user machines instead of just connecting through RDP. It's worth checking out though!
You could also look into ScalefusionMDM. It allows you to lock devices into a single app or kiosk mode, which is useful for keeping your Zebra scanners secure. It can push RDP updates and restrict users from changing settings, but it won't modify the RDP client directly. If you're already using SureMDM, switching might be a challenge though.
Isn't Scalefusion similar to SureMDM? We're quite locked into our current system, so changing might not be feasible for us.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm just concerned about the connection method since RDP is a must for us. I’ll look into it, but it might require more setup on each machine.
