I'm using a Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10 with a Lenovo R27qe monitor and constantly move my laptop around. It's quite a hassle to unplug everything whenever I need to go. I'm looking for suggestions on docking stations or hubs that can provide a seamless connection and ensure I get 200Hz refresh rate with my monitor. Any tips?

It's key to clarify what you mean by 'everything.' That will help narrow down your options for a hub or dock. The right choice will definitely make hopping between locations much easier!

When you say you want to unplug everything, does that mean you have multiple peripherals attached? If so, investing in a high-quality docking station is a smart move. It simplifies your setup and ensures you only have to deal with one connection when you’re ready to go. Just make sure to pick one that can handle 200Hz for your monitor.

Sounds like what you really need is a docking station rather than a simple dongle. A good dock will let you connect all your devices—like your monitor, keyboard, and mouse—into one hub, making it much easier to just plug one cable into your laptop. Check if your laptop model (Part #83F0) supports Thunderbolt 4; if it does, you’ll have many great dock options that can handle your 200Hz requirement easily. If it doesn't, a regular USB-C dock with separate HDMI should do just fine.

Thanks for the info! I couldn’t find the part number, so I’ll likely go for a regular dock based on your advice.

Also, I noticed it has 'dp' labeled on one of the wires in the description, does that help at all?
