Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a motherboard to pair with my Ryzen 9800X3D. I've got an older video card that uses PCIe 4.0 16x and also a SFP+ NIC. Ideally, I need a motherboard with at least 2 NVMe slots and 4 SATA slots – more of both would be great, but they're not must-haves.
I'm particularly interested to know if I can find a motherboard that has all these connectors without having to share PCIe lanes or anything like that. I plan to primarily use this setup for gaming and photo editing, and I'm not looking to upgrade the CPU later, so future-proofing isn't a concern for me. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Most AM5 motherboards will support 2 M.2 slots and 4 SATA ports without lane sharing. You might want to check out something in the $150-200 range, like a B650 or B850 motherboard.

Are there specific boards you'd recommend? I've been a loyal Asus buyer, thinking they were the most reliable. Now I'm curious if a more budget-friendly option might also hold up.
