I'm in the process of buying parts for my first PC build, primarily intended for playing iRacing and some grand strategy games. I've got a 9600x CPU and a 5060ti 16GB GPU, and I'm looking for a motherboard that will not only fit these components but also allow for future upgrades of the CPU and GPU down the line. Any suggestions on which motherboard would be the best option?

Are you considering a budget for the motherboard? I recently helped someone build a system with a 5060ti using the Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2. It supports PCIe Gen5 for both the GPU and storage, which is great since most new GPUs, including the 5060ti, are going Gen5. Also, any B850 or X870 boards would be a solid pick for future tech compatibility.
I've heard that some mobos require a BIOS update to work with the 9600x, which I'd prefer to avoid since I'm new to building.
Honestly, the best motherboard is the most affordable one that boasts quality build and solid reviews while meeting your needs. If you’re not planning on heavy overclocking or adding tons of SSDs, just grab the cheapest one with PCIe 5.0 support and you'll be good to go.
I'm open to spending around $250 or maybe $300 if needed.
