I'm looking for suggestions on a PC build specifically for running Autodesk Maya, with a budget of $1500. The computer will primarily be used for this software, so I'm not concerned about any additional functionalities—anything extra would just be a bonus. I live in the USA and want to ensure the components will handle Maya efficiently.

For your needs, I’d recommend going with an Intel CPU and an Nvidia GPU. If you have access to a Micro Center, check out this option: it features an i7 14700KF, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 5070 with a 1TB SSD. Another choice, though a bit pricier, includes an upgraded i7 265KF and a 5070 Ti along with a 2TB SSD. Both should handle Maya really well!
If you're using Maya professionally, I’d suggest increasing your budget to around $2000 to hit the recommended specs. I managed to create a build that works great for this purpose. You can still cut costs here and there, but unless you have spare parts from another setup or can snag used components, it’s tough to cut down the price significantly. Here's a link to the build I put together: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Ldc4Cw

Looks great, thanks for sharing!
