I'm excited to be building my first PC after receiving an inheritance, with a budget of approximately 10,000 zł (about $2,680). I've never owned a PC before and I'm looking to use it primarily for hardcore gaming, plus some video editing and learning programming. I wish to achieve around 120 fps with high resolution in games, but I'm not overly concerned about maxing out graphics settings. Here's the setup I'm considering so far:

Great monitor choice with that OLED! Just remember, you'll want to handle it with care to avoid burn-in issues. As for the cooler, you don't need to go all out; something like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin would be sufficient for the 9700X. When it comes to the GPU, consider swapping for an NVIDIA option like the 5070 Ti or the AMD 9070 XT for better performance, especially on Linux where driver support is solid for NVIDIA. Your current setup looks good overall, but you might save some cash by sticking with the B650 motherboard instead of upgrading to the X670E and keeping the 32GB RAM, which is plenty for gaming and editing. Just keep in mind that some eSports titles have compatibility issues with Linux.

If you're in the EU and aiming for AAA gaming, I'd recommend the combo of the Ryzen 7800X3D and the 5070. At around 300 euros for the chip and 600-650 euros for the GPU, you'll get solid performance. The 32GB RAM you've chosen is also perfect, and going down to 5600 CL36 could be a cost-effective alternative, especially if you use the X3D chip since it doesn't prioritize RAM speed as much.
