Seeking Advice on My First PC Build: AMD vs Intel

I'm making the leap to building my own PC instead of buying a prebuilt one. I've created two potential builds: one with AMD and the other with Intel. I'm completely new to this, so I'm looking for honest feedback on both setups. I want a PC that can last me at least five years for gaming and home media, and it needs to be easy to upgrade down the road. I'd like to keep my GPU and have it liquid-cooled, but I'm open to other suggestions too. For the AMD build, I'm unsure if the liquid cooler can work with the AMD 7 CPU since it doesn't specify compatibility. Also, I'm not sure if I should add a back fan for airflow, or if the setup with just the liquid cooler will suffice. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Here are my builds: Intel Build: [link], AMD Build: [link].

You might be able to save some cash by switching to a 12th generation Intel processor with DDR4 RAM. There are some great deals on LGA 1700 DDR4 motherboards right now, and DDR4 is still a solid choice. Plus, with your GPU, you probably won't hit CPU limits unless you’re looking for ultra-high refresh rates at 1080p.

Thank you! I really like my Intel builds, so this advice is super helpful!

Both builds look solid! Just a heads up, the AMD build uses an AM4 socket. Since you're aiming for longevity, I’d recommend switching to at least an AM5. The 5070ti is a great choice and should serve you well if you take care of it. It should last you a long time!
