I'm in the process of building a new gaming PC after not upgrading for a good 4-8 years, and I could really use some help from those who have more experience with this! My goal is to create a setup that will last me around five years without needing major upgrades. I'm primarily focusing on PC gaming. Here's the link to my build: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sxPQh7](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sxPQh7).
I have a few specific areas where I'm seeking advice:
1. **Graphics Card**: I've got a 9070XT in my build, but I'm debating between that and the 7900XTX. I'm also considering the 5080/90 but have some reliability concerns, especially with the power cord issues. Is that something I should still worry about? Is there a brand that has addressed these problems? I'd like a high-end GPU that will last me as long as my old 1080Ti did.
2. **CPU**: I'm leaning towards a high-end AMD processor due to reports of reliability issues with Intel's recent generations. Are Intel's problems overblown? Is the 9950X3D worth it?
3. **Motherboard**: I'm not sure how to evaluate motherboards, so I need advice on whether I picked a good one or if there's a better option out there.
4. **Power Supply**: Am I overdoing it with my PSU choice? I don't mind some extra power, but I want to avoid going overboard.
Feel free to share any other tips or questions. Thank you!

Everything looks pretty solid but honestly, I think your build is way overkill! What’s your budget for this project?
Budget is roughly 5k max but trying to keep it below 4k. Anything extra from the PC goes to new monitors and stuff. Been saving a while for this build.
