Hey all! I'm in the process of building a mid-to-high-end PC that I aim to keep under $2,000. My goal is to create a setup that doesn't need upgrading for a while. I'm currently waiting for some holiday deals to potentially lower prices on parts. I'm looking for any major weaknesses in my build or suggestions for swapping components with more affordable alternatives that still offer similar performance. You might want to consider a better and cheaper RAM kit I found. RAM prices are expected to keep rising, and I recommend grabbing some before it's too late! Here’s a link to a great deal on 32 GB DDR5-6000. It could save you some cash without sacrificing performance. Overall, your build looks pretty solid aside from that!
If you're aiming for price-to-performance, Intel often gives you more bang for your buck, especially compared to AMD. For example, there's only a small FPS difference at 1440P between the 7600X and the 9800X3D—sometimes just 3 FPS! You could save money with an Intel build while still getting solid performance, and that might help you stay under budget.
