Hey everyone! I'm currently transitioning from being a Unity developer to a full stack web developer. I've learned the basics of Python, HTML, and CSS. My plan is to delve into FastAPI, Django, and Flask for back end, and then tackle React for the front end. Given the tough job market right now (especially since I'm based in Serbia), I'd appreciate any advice or tips you all might have for someone just starting out. Do you think this is a good path to pursue? Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I was in a similar boat! After taking a break from development, I decided to return to web dev and found plenty of resources online. Make sure to explore different learning paths; personal recommendations from others with a background can really guide you the fastest way to proficiency!
Just a heads up: the web development job market is quite saturated right now. It’s a competitive field, but there are still opportunities out there if you keep looking!
It might be a good idea to start with React for the front end before diving into full stack development. It can help you get more comfortable with the concepts as you go along!
I totally get that! CSS was a bit of a challenge for me too 10 years ago. But with all the resources available now, learning should be a lot easier! If you want to skip straight to React, check out some highly rated courses on Udemy for foundational knowledge.

Absolutely, I agree! Real experiences from people are super valuable, especially before you commit to courses.
