Should I be worried about Microsoft and Windows 11 bricking my computer?

I've been feeling really uneasy about Microsoft lately, especially after hearing about reports that Windows 11 might be causing SSDs to brick. Thankfully, I'm still using Windows 10, but I'm starting to wonder how long my computer will last under Microsoft's reign. I mainly play games like GTA V, Battlefield series, and more. I also do some video editing and regular office tasks. I'm reaching out for some guidance—should I be concerned about my current setup, or is there a more reliable alternative for me? Here's my PC Specs: Ryzen 5700x, 16GB RAM, 2x 1TB SSD, RX 6700 10GB, Asus B550M-A WiFi II.

Honestly, you should probably be careful about Microsoft. There are concerns about privacy and stability. If you’re looking for a switch, I'd recommend exploring Linux, but be prepared for a learning curve!

What would you suggest I use instead?

You might want to check protondb.com for compatibility on the games you play. Just a heads up, Battlefield will probably run into issues due to their kernel level anti-cheat, which is a total bummer.
