I'm trying to convince my friend to go for a custom PC build rather than buying a prebuilt one. He's got a budget of $1350, and he already has his peripherals, but I'm running into issues with DDR5 availability. I want to avoid an 8GB graphics card, and while 16GB of RAM isn't ideal, it fits within the budget. I'd appreciate it if someone could take a look at my proposed build and let me know if I'm missing anything important. Here's my PCPartPicker list: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE, Motherboard: ASRock B650 Pro RS WiFi, Memory: Patriot Viper Venom 16 GB DDR5, Storage: Kingston NV3 1 TB NVME SSD, Video Card: ASRock Challenger OC Radeon RX 9060 XT, Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini V2, Power Supply: MSI MAG A650BN, and a few additional case fans. The total comes to about $1299.82.

The drive you're considering seems a bit overpriced. If you're thinking of upgrading the CPU in the future, I'd recommend avoiding ASRock for the motherboard.
You're not missing anything, but you might want to consider some cable extensions to make the case look more polished. Thicker cables can add a nice touch. AsiaHorse has some budget-friendly options available for around $30. Also, do you need a fan or RGB hub for those extra fans?
Yeah, I picked up a braided set of cables for my wife's build, and it made a big difference. The fans I'm using are ARGB and should work with the motherboard, but I'll check on that!
Your build looks solid for the budget! The Ryzen 5 7600X with the RX 9060 XT 16GB is an awesome combo and will handle 1440p gaming without issues. 16GB of DDR5 is fine for now, and you can upgrade later if you want. The 1TB NVMe is plenty for games. Your cooler and extra fans are great for airflow, and the 650W PSU should be sufficient for this setup. Overall, you're getting much more value vs. a prebuilt—definitely go for it!

Good catch. Thanks for the heads up!
