Should I Build My Own Gaming PC or Buy One?

I've been gaming on a laptop for years, mostly to keep up with friends, and now that I have a dedicated space in my new home, I'm considering moving to a gaming desktop. I'm not very tech-savvy, having only upgraded my laptop a bit with an SSD and some RAM. I know that building a PC can give me more flexibility for upgrades, but I'm worried about whether I'd be getting in over my head since I've never built one before. Is it worth it to build my own PC, or should I just buy a pre-built one? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can definitely build your own PC! It's not as complicated as you might think, sort of like a big puzzle. However, the current market is a bit chaotic, so sometimes buying a pre-built can actually save you money, or at least be comparable to building one yourself. I recently got a pre-built from Andromeda Insights and the experience was great, even though it took a few weeks to get my order. Just something to keep in mind!

I'm leaning toward building one for the experience and future upgrades. How do I even start? Do I buy a kit or just get the parts from a site like Newegg?
