I recently upgraded to a new generation PC, but after I finished building it, the DRAM indicator light started glowing red. I've tried switching the RAM around, clearing the CMOS, and using Q Flash to update the BIOS, but after initially blinking, the light stays solid red. I've reseated the CPU and cleaned the RAM as well, but nothing seems to work. I'm really stressed out and have been searching for solutions. I read that some motherboards, like the B850, have memory training features that help the RAM adjust, so I let it run for about two hours. But I've started to lose hope since memory training usually only takes about 10 minutes. I'm beginning to regret my decision to upgrade. Has anyone else faced this issue?

Have you checked for any bent pins in the CPU socket? It's also possible that one of your RAM sticks might be faulty. I had a similar situation with my first DDR5 stick which turned out to be damaged. If you can, try using just one stick at a time to see if that makes a difference.
I feel your pain! It really sucks when new builds run into issues like this. I suggest trying different RAM slots and if you can borrow a known working stick from a friend, that might help narrow down if the problem is with the RAM or the motherboard.
