Should I Buy a New PC for $500 or Upgrade My Current One?

I'm considering whether to buy a second PC listed for $500 or stick with my current setup. Here are my specs: Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.00GHz, 32GB RAM, Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI-CF motherboard, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. My current storage includes a couple of SATA drives, along with an SSD. I haven't upgraded or updated my specs in a while and could use some guidance on what to do next.

Honestly, the 3060 in that new build is just a slight upgrade from your 1080 Ti. Since you already have some solid components like your RAM and PSU, you could build a much better system for about $600 instead of grabbing that new PC. I suggest checking out the 9060xt 16GB for around $380 and a good CPU for about $130-140. You can definitely reuse a lot of what you already have!

This is brilliant, thank you! I will check these out! It's crazy that Amazon has it listed for $1700. It makes total sense now that I can reuse most of my components.
