Should I Buy a Prebuilt Gaming PC or Build My Own?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my current PC and my budget is around £1000. I live in Northern Ireland and plan to use the PC for work and some casual gaming. I found a prebuilt option that includes an Intel i7 12th generation processor, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, an MSI 8660-A motherboard, and an MSI MAG 750W gold PSU. They've upgraded the GPU to a 5060, and the total cost is just under £1000. Is this a good deal, or could I build something better within my budget?

Building your own PC is usually a better option if you're comfortable with it. You typically get higher quality components for your money, as prebuilt systems often cut corners on things like the PSU, fans, and cases. I suggest checking out pcpartpicker.com to create a build. It helps you find compatible parts, the best prices, and see builds others have done with those components. Plus, there are loads of YouTube tutorials that guide you through every step of the process, including setup and optimization after building.

I checked pcpartpicker, but there are just so many options! I tried to put a build together, but the price shot over £1k and I hadn't even finalized it.
