I'm currently using a 2TB SSD in my complete build, featuring a 5080 GPU and a 9800X3D processor. At this moment, there aren't any other upgrades I'm considering, but I would like some extra storage and a dedicated boot drive. Do you think it's better to buy an SSD now or wait to see if prices drop?

Honestly, nobody can predict the price changes. Right now, they aren't likely to decrease anytime soon and may even rise. If you really need the drive, just get it now.
If your 2TB drive is filling up, I'd say go for a new SSD now. If you still have plenty of space, you might be okay holding off for a bit.
It’s tough to say for sure, but with current global issues, prices could spike. If I needed extra storage, I wouldn't wait.
With the hardware you're running, are you seriously fretting over an extra SSD? If you've got the funds and there's nothing else pressing, it might be a good idea to grab it now.
If the extra storage is just a bonus and not a necessity, you could save your money for now. Clearing out unnecessary files is a free option!
