Should I buy the RX 7800 XT for 1440p gaming in 2025?

I'm currently considering whether the RX 7800 XT is a good buy for 1440p gaming in 2025. It costs 71,000 Taka (about $580) where I live in Bangladesh. I'm a bit concerned about missing features like FSR 4 and Frame Generation, which are exclusive to the newer 9000 series. The RX 9060 XT is priced at 55,000 Taka ($448), but I'm worried it won't deliver the performance I need for 1440p. On the other hand, the RX 9070 XT is fantastic but priced at 100,000 Taka ($815), which is beyond my budget. What should I consider when making this decision?

Any day over the 9060 XT! The 7800 XT is a fantastic card and will serve you well for 1440p gaming! It even supports Frame Generation.

But aren't they pretty similar in performance?

I bought the RX 7800 XT earlier this year, and trust me, in the long run, you won’t regret prioritizing raw performance over FSR 4. Just go for it, you'll thank yourself later!

What do you do when a game doesn’t work well with raster? I’ve used FSR 3, and honestly, it doesn’t look great.

What’s the price on the non-XT 9070? It outperforms the 7800 XT and can sometimes be cheaper than the XT models.

I've got the 7800 XT, and it's honestly amazing for gaming! If you can swing it, go for it. Don’t forget it includes Frame Generation too!

If you're considering alternatives, I've got the 4070 Super on my wishlist for 1440p, but it’s around $700 here. If you’re open to waiting, the 5070 might be a solid choice in the future.

Definitely! 5070 sounds like a future-proof option.

Honestly, I think the 9060 XT is a better choice for budget gamers who still want decent performance.
