Hey everyone! I'm in the market to upgrade my main monitor from a 23.6" 165Hz kg241qs to something larger. I mainly game and enjoy watching movies and shows on it, so I'm looking for high quality. I love playing games like The Finals and The Crew: Motorfest, and I plan on trying out Battlefield 6 soon, which I expect to be more demanding. I usually sit about a meter away from my monitor, but sometimes I play from bed at a distance of over 3 meters. I'm having a tough time deciding between a 1080p and a 1440p monitor. My budget is around €200 or less, and here are my specs: Motherboard: B650M-HDV/M.2, CPU: AMD Ryzen 7600x3d, GPU: 3060 OC 12GB, RAM: 32GB 6000hz 30cl.

If you're going for a monitor larger than 24 inches, I’d definitely recommend 1440p. On a 27-inch screen, 1080p might look kind of pixelated. For new AAA games, you might need to lower some settings and enable DLSS, but I think your 3060 can handle 1440p well enough. In the long run, it’ll be a better investment for visual quality!
If you're into movie watching, consider getting an OLED or miniLED panel. They have way better contrast compared to standard LCDs. You might want to check out options like the MSI MPG 274URDFW or the Dell Alienware AW2725D, both really great for high quality. Just keep in mind your budget when looking these up!
Thanks for the suggestion. But I forgot to mention I am looking for an IPS type monitor that is not more than €200. Sorry for not mentioning it. I edited.

Yea I know. I don't mind tuning down settings for 1440p. Thanks!
