Hey everyone! I'm working on my first gaming PC build and I'm caught in a bit of a dilemma regarding RAM. Due to high prices, I can't afford 32GB of DDR5 memory. So my options are either to go for 16GB of the newer DDR5 or stick with 32GB DDR4. I'm trying to decide whether it's wiser to future-proof my system with less RAM or to opt for the older DDR4 with more capacity. Right now, I have a 1440p 200Hz monitor, and my budget is around $1000, give or take a little. I haven't picked out a GPU yet, but I don't mind going for a slightly lower-end one to allocate more budget elsewhere. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Definitely go for 32GB! It's a no-brainer especially for gaming and multitasking. Having more RAM capacity will serve you better in the long run, especially if you're looking to future-proof your setup.
