Should I choose a 750W or 1000W power supply for my new PC build?

I'm building a new PC with a 5070 12GB graphics card and a Ryzen 9 7900X processor. I'm debating whether to go for a 750W power supply to save some money or a 1000W power supply for better future-proofing. Price isn't a major concern, but I want to make sure I'm making the right choice for both current and future upgrades. What do you think would be the best wattage for me?

I recently went with an 850W PSU, and it works perfectly for my setup with similar specs. It provides enough headroom for a potential upgrade to something more powerful without any concerns about power limits. Just make sure it has good connections for your GPU.

If price isn't a problem, I'd definitely lean towards a higher wattage. A 1000W power supply will handle future upgrades better and stress the unit less, which can lead to a longer lifespan. Just make sure you get a reputable brand; a good 850W is often better than a low-quality 1000W PSU. Also, always check for the latest connectivity options for your GPU.

Totally agree! Going with a more efficient power supply means quieter operation and less wear over time.
