I'm exploring GPU options within a $400 budget and considering the used market. I've spotted some RX 6800 XTs for around $325 and a few RTX 4070s priced at $400 in my area. My main question is whether the price-to-performance ratio of the RX 9060 XT makes it more appealing than going for these older used cards. Is it worth buying the newer 9060 XT instead?

The 6800 XT is still serving me great, handling 1440p pretty well with high FPS in most games. If you can find one cheap, it might be worth it for you.
I'd say go for the 4070 instead. It’s about 20% faster and not that old, so you'll have better overall performance.
Yeah, the 9060 XT is probably your best bet here. It's competitive in performance with both the 6800 XT and the 4070, but you'll have the advantage of warranty and longer driver updates.
Honestly, I'd pick a new RX 9060 XT over an older 6800 XT or RTX 4070 any day. You get better feature support and peace of mind with a warranty.
