I'm trying to decide between the Ryzen 5 5600G and the Intel i5 11600K for my RTX 3060 setup. The i5 fits with my current motherboard, but I want to know which option would really perform better, especially since I mainly play 2K25. Currently, I'm using an i3 10th gen, so I'm looking for a solid upgrade. Thanks for your help!

Honestly, the i5 11600K is a much better choice here. The 5600G is pretty mediocre, and it doesn't make sense to get it if you already have a compatible motherboard for the i5. Go with the i5 since it performs better, especially for gaming. No contest!

Got it! Sticking with the 11600K is definitely the way to go since it suits my setup. Appreciate the advice!

I'd recommend against the Ryzen 5 5600G. It's essentially a repurposed laptop chip, while the i5 11600K is built for real desktop performance. If you don't plan on upgrading your motherboard anytime soon, the 11600K is the best bet. If you can grab it for under $150, that's even better!
