Should I Choose ATX 3.0 or ATX 3.1 for My 5090 GPU?

I'm trying to decide between using an ATX 3.0 12VHPWR A+ PSU or an ATX 3.1 12V-6x2 B+ PSU for my 5090 GPU. I know both options might have overheating issues, but which power supply would actually work better with the 5090?

Honestly, the differences between ATX 3.0 and 3.1 are pretty minimal. The GPU sense pins are just a tad shorter and the power pins a little longer on the 3.1. I'd recommend sticking with the A+ PSU—it's a solid choice even though it's based on an older standard. Better safe than sorry!

Gotcha! I saw that the store I ordered from mentioned both ATX 3.0 and 3.1. Does that mean the PSU's connector could be updated for the newer standard? Like, it might have longer pins but still be labeled 3.0?
