I'm building a new gaming PC and aiming for high-end performance with an RTX 5070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM. I'm at a crossroads: should I go for 2TB of SSD storage to use with my IPS monitor, or would it be better to get 1TB of SSD storage and invest in an OLED monitor instead?

I'd recommend going for the SSD storage. It's usually much cheaper to add more later than to swap out an entire monitor. Since monitors last for years, consider that a good quality IPS screen can be quite close to OLED... just make sure to read some reviews before buying!
Honestly, a good balance is to do both if possible. Take your time and figure out how you can afford the upgrades you really want!
I get your concern, but the difference between 1TB SSD and an OLED monitor isn't that vast in price terms. If you're going for performance, I say grab the OLED now and think about storage later—1TB can go quickly but can be managed if you delete games after finishing them!
True, it really all depends on your gaming habits and how big the games are that you want to keep.
Yeah, I just delete what I don't play anymore too. Stockpiling games isn't a must unless your internet's slow.
